Our story
Sosteneo is a specialist investment manager focused on construction-ready infrastructure projects that address the system challenges of clean energy delivery. We invest at the value inflection point – post-development risk, pre-brownfield compression – to deliver new infrastructure that meets flexibility, supply, and end-use needs for the energy transition.
Founded in 2022 by four experienced partners in collaboration with Generali Investments, Sosteneo received regulatory authorisation from the Bank of Italy in 2023. With the backing of one of Europe’s largest institutional investors, we operate with the governance, rigour and fiduciary discipline expected by global asset owners.
Our senior leadership team has been active in the energy industry since 1992. This multi-cycle experience, combined with deep technical and industrial expertise, provides access to differentiated opportunities and underpins disciplined execution.
